Community Service
Reaching Out to Our Community
During the year of 2010, The ESCO Group was very successful in gaining employee participation support for several philanthropic events. We had ESCO record-breaking numbers to raise money for Junior Achievement through their bowling event, for Especially for You with their 3K Walk, and for the United Way with our own Pancake Breakfast, or through events such as United Way Day of Caring, and our own employee golf outing, where proceeds from our raffles and mulligans are 100% donated.
In 2008 the historic Flood brought much difficulty not only to our family here at ESCO, but to our entire community. We made an effort to reach out as far as our arms could extend, and also asked many of our employees to add in the extra hours to help bring our clients, and this city back, to a functioning status. Through months of seven-day-weeks and 14-hour-days, our teams were successful in helping our partners in business “turn their lights back on” and get back to business as usual. We were proud to be a part of this strong community as it stood back up and survived such a treacherous wound.
The ESCO Group firmly believes that we are only as strong as our community. While this company has the ability to reach out and help others, it will.
